Happy Saturday Biters! What have we got planned this weekend? 💫 This weekend I’ve got a lot of catching up to do on my studies, housework, and that all important me time! It’s so crucial to recognise when your body needs a little relaxation, whether that just be for an afternoon, or a weekend - and you shouldn’t feeling guilty for it! To live a life that is balanced and maintainable, we need to give ourselves well-deserved rest. So remember to do the things you love this weekend and spend it with the close ones! My me time often involves baking, so here is my HEALTHY PEANUT BUTTER BAKED OAT SLICE! Vegan, gluten free, and naturally sweetened, this slice is perfect for those relaxed afternoon breaks. THE DEETS ✨
In a large bowl add 3 (medium) mashed bananas + 1/2 c natural peanut butter (I used half half @mayversfood + @picspeanutbutter ) and mix well to combine. Add 1.5 c GF oats + 1 tsp vanilla extract + cinnamon + 1/4 c pepitas + 1/4 sunflower seeds + handful chopped almonds + handful @loving_earth buckinis + 2 tbs hemp seeds and stir to combine. Pour into 2 lined loaf tins and bake for 20-25mins at 190 C. Enjoy warm or cold and lather with more @picspeanutbutter 🤤
